Blogger Luncheon

One of the wonderful rewards about blogging are the people that we meet and form relationships with. Sometime ago I met Kitty from Kitty's Kozy Kitchen at Yvonne's Stone Gable. Kitty and I began to chat back and forth and I looked forward to our weekly visits. One day I received an email from her telling me that she and her very good friend Pat from Pattycakes In The Kitchen were  talking  about different bloggers they wanted to meet and I was one of the bloggers they wanted to meet. I was so honored and thrilled of course that they wanted to meet me and the feeling was most certainly mutual. After several emails back and forth we made a luncheon date and I could hardly wait for the date to arrive. My sweet Husband was dropping me off to have lunch with Kitty and Patsy then after lunch we were going to visit with family and friends in a near by community, it was a Day Trip.
The Chocolate Angel
Plano, Texas
 Patsy , Miz Helen, Kitty

The Chocolate Angel  is a precious little Tea Room with wonderful food.

Patsy had Potato Leek Soup and Chicken Salad Croissant

Kitty had Chicken Salad and Strawberry Pretzel Salad

I Enjoyed
Fruit Cup with Poppy Seed Dressing, Berry Scone, Artichoke and Sun Dried Tomato Quiche, Salad

We all shared a wonderful Chocolate Brownie Pie that was gone so fast we didn't get a photo.

We had a great lunch and of course we were snapping photos and sharing ideas and before you know it the time was up.  They have two seating's at The Chocolate Angel one  at 11:30 and again at 1:00. We came at 11:30 and clearly could have stayed through the next seating we were having so much fun. If you are in the Plano area I would highly recommend The Chocolate Angel, located at the corner of Preston and Parker Rd.

I was so humbled that these lovely ladies invited me and so  honored to meet them. I feel like I have made two friends that I will definitely be lunching with again, as a matter of fact, they are planning a Day Trip to Mabank to have lunch with me at The Victorian Lady Tea Room. There is something about spending time with friends, it fills your heart and your soul and lingers long after the time has passed. Kitty and Patsy brought me the most precious gifts in addition to treating me to a great lunch. Today I am enjoying the gifts they brought as I am enjoying the memory of the wonderful Day Trip I spent with them.

Bread and Jam from Kitty and Coffee Mug and Candy from Patsy

Kitty brought me the most delicious Homemade Bread and Jam and Patsy brought me this precious coffee mug with wonderful chocolate candy hearts. My goodness, I felt like it was my birthday!  It was a wonderful day and I have a wonderful memory of our time together, Thank you so much Kitty and Patsy and Thank you for stopping by to see me today!!
Peace and Joy
