I am so excited to be home and very excited to see all of you today. We have just returned from a three week vacation on the Oregon Coast and it was awesome. I really can't wait to tell you all about our adventures in the days to come, so come on in the kitchen and  lets  get this menu for next week started.

  3. Glad you had a great vacation and welcome back. I was looking at the photos and I've got to try the Crisp Cole Slaw soon, it sounds delicious. Also, I thought I was following your blog for months, since I just pop over here to see you often but realized tonight that I wasn't~Though, now I am! Anyway, I was shocked at myself that I hadn't been following all this time. Have a great Labor Day Weekend.

  6. Oh how I miss brisket. When we lived in TX I could buy it rather cheap, cooked it all night, we had meat for a week or so. Now, living in CA they don't know what brisket is, can only find small market trimmed brisket in the grocery stores at a high cost.
