Old Fashioned Polenta
I placed my Apple Braised Beef Short Ribs on my meal plan for this week, which is a part of my weekly publication Whats For Dinner Next Week, 776. We love this recipe and always serve it on top of my Old Fashioned Polenta. I just realized that I never did share the recipe for the polenta until I got a sweet note from a young homemaker asking for the recipe. Mary thank you so much for asking for the recipe so that I could share with all of you!

Whisk, whisk constantly until the mixture will begin to thicken. Continue to whisk until
the mixture reaches the consistency you want.

I can’t wait to try this! Our son was a chef and used to make polenta. It is the only time I have ever had it. I never did get his recipe, and we lost him in 2019. I am going to try this one. It sounds delicious! Thanks for the sweet memories!
ReplyDeleteI love polenta and old fashioned is the only one I eat. What I love to add is a little bit of cottage cheese or kajmak . That makes it even more delicious.
