Full Plate Thursday, 778
Welcome to Full Plate Thursday 778, we are so happy that you are here today. We are so excited about presenting our features from last weeks party.
We are preparing for one of the worst winter storms that we have had in a number of years. By Friday we will have 1 to 2 inches of ice plus several inches of snow. We are praying that our electric holds on, but have generators standing by for minimal household use. I am writing this post early to make sure it will post for all of you. Please leave us a comment today, to let us know what your weather is like and if you are ok. God be with us all!

I hope your power holds! They're predicting 12-18" for us now... but while I hate that snow and cold at least we're well prepared for it here in CT.
ReplyDeleteThank you Miz Helen, stay warm and safe this weekend!

ReplyDeleteThank you for the party and hosting MIz Helen! Be safe and warm with the incoming weather!
ReplyDeleteThe shelves in the grocery store were half empty on Tuesday already! and I'm north of Dallas (closer to the Red River) so that was days before it will hit us! Crazy! Already planning for Mississippi Pot Roast and a White Chicken Chili for the first 2 days ~ then figure we'll have enough leftovers since there's just 2 of us. As you know, no one goes anywhere in Texas when it snows ~ the whole city of Dallas totally shuts down! Take care, stay warm and catch y'all again next week!
ReplyDeleteHope that all well with you Miz Helen, health and weather wise. Take care and stay warm.

ReplyDeleteHi Miz Helen! I’ll be staying in if it gets icy here, as I know you will, too. I have plenty of food, but I just had to buy a new microwave and that may take longer to get installed because of our upcoming weather. Thank you for hosting and stay safe and warm.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the feature of our Vegetable Beef Soup--exciting! Hope you have a nice, warm weekend!
ReplyDeleteStay warm and safe this weekend! We're experiencing -40 windchills in our world today so it's too cold for snow! BRRR! Thanks so much for hosting us all, Miz Helen!
