Raised Garden Beds First Spring Harvest and Early Spring Blooms
Our new raised garden beds have brought pure joy into our gardening life. We recently introduced our Custom Raised Garden Beds and we are really having great results. I am very excited to share our first spring harvest with all of you.
Raised Garden Beds First Spring Harvest
I was so excited to have a harvest already. I got sweet banana peppers and a nice bunch of basil. I used my basil in several different recipes, it was so nice to have fresh basil. I am so grateful to get some sweet banana peppers, I am freezing as many as I can, I need them for my
Our bush green beans are up and growing well. We should have green beans by the 4th of July! with blooms and tiny little jalapeno's.
Here come the green bell peppers.
Even more sweet banana peppers ready to harvest!
Look close and you can spot the green tomatoes. I may have to harvest some of the green tomatoes for
The cucumbers will climb up the Bamboo Pyramid,
and they are covered in blooms.
My husband snapped this photo of me harvesting the vegetables. I did not bring my harvest basket to the garden area. I was using the bottom of my shirt, just exactly the way my Grandmother did when I would go to the garden with her. The last time I went to the garden with my Grandmother she was in her late 80's and I will be 87 in July.
This bee was upside down on his back having so much fun in the bath of the Magnolia bloom.
Our Magnolia Trees are just covered in
the most beautiful blooms.
We will have lots of Blackberries, the vines are loaded!
They are beautiful berries!
And they just keep coming!
Our special memorial iris for our late rescue dog Max.
A beautiful memory for our precious Max.
A very beautiful Iris a special thanks to my friend Barb, who gifted us the Iris plus planted them for us!
We will have so much fun with more
new plantings coming up everyday.
We have plenty of marigolds that have many visitors.
My husband Leonard, what a guy! He has been working on re-setting the flagstone on this patio for about 3 years. In between all that, he recovered from several medical issues, plus a placement of a heart pacemaker. We are very close to moving the furniture back on the patio.
We hope to use it again on Memorial Day.
Thanks so much for stopping by the garden to spend some time with us. Perhaps there is a photo here that will inspire you to grow some beautiful vegetables and or flowers in your yard. Have a fantastic week and come back to see us real soon!
Peace and Joy
