Turkey Turnover

This is the go-to recipe for all the leftover turkey. A flaky crust surrounds this great combination of turkey and cheese all melted together. This is a very versatile recipe, chicken or ham can be substituted for the turkey or a combination of turkey and ham or ham and chicken. This is a great meal in one with a lot of flavor, just add a salad and enjoy!

Pumpkin Surprise

The first time I made this special dessert was for my friends dinner party right before their wedding, we served a 25 person sit down dinner and this was the dessert. I just love to serve this little surprise it makes the dinner so special. It really is very easy to make and is delicious, very rich in flavor. The surprise inside the pumpkin is like a pecan pie surrounded by pumpkin pie. You might want to make two per guest, someone always says do you have another one of those?

Whats For Dinner Next Week 11-17-13

It is cold, the temperature sitting at 29 degrees, burrr, come sit by the warm fire with me and have a nice cup of hot chocolate. We had our last harvest for the fall garden just before the freeze, we gathered enough jalapeno's to make some pickled jalapenos, a few green tomatoes to have fried green tomatoes and some beautiful roses. More Holiday Tips, we have several bags of cookies in the freezer to replenish the cookie jar as it empties out, along with several loaves of pumpkin bread ready to warm and slice. We have a breakfast casserole in the freezer just ready to heat and serve. I like to have these things on hand it allows me to spend more time with family and friends. Now lets see what we have on The Menu next week.
