Harvest Apple Cake With Caramel Sauce
Apple harvest is great when you can go out to the orchard and fill your basket with wonderful crisp apples. This recipe is so simple to make. The cake is filled with caramel sauce and topped with caramel apples. The cake is refrigerated to give it a real delicious moist crumb. This is a very special dessert that will complete any meal.
How To Make Harvest Cake With Caramel Sauce
Pour the cake batter into a 9X13 baking dish and
bake according to box directions.
Poke holes into the baked and cooled cake.
In a mixing pitcher mix the Sweetened Condensed Milk
with the divided Cinnamon and Nutmeg.
Carefully pour the mixture over the cake making sure it goes into the holes.
Pour the pie mix into a medium adding the remainder of the Cinnamon and Nutmeg. With a knife, chop
the apples in the filling into smaller pieces.
Spread the pie filling on the top of the cake, then drizzle 1/4 cup of caramel sauce on top of the apple filling.
Place the cake in the refrigerator for
at least 4 hours before serving.
Keep the leftover cake refrigerated.
Recipe The Cake is ready to serve.
and a drizzle of Caramel Sauce.
