Nutty Oat and Raisin Bars

Our Nutty Oat and Raisin Bars are just the perfect little snack. They are good with a cup of coffee in the morning, a lunch time dessert, how about with a cup of tea in the afternoon. I have to confess that I walk by the serving platter and can't resist anytime of the day. This is a very easy recipe with just a few ingredients that we just love to have on hand for snack time.

Pumpkin Blondie's

My Pumpkin Blondie's are a very special treat. This could easily be a snack cake, it is so moist and the flavors of pumpkin and special spices make this a great recipe. I made this batch of Blondie's for a committee meeting and did not have a single one left, they really are that good. So if you are serving them for a function be sure and put one back for yourself, you may not have enough.

Old Fashioned Peach Bars

We love peach season and the wonderful recipes that we can create from the delicious peaches. This is a recipe that is made with fresh or frozen peaches so that you can enjoy these tasty treats the year round. We have enjoyed these bars at family gatherings, church pot luck dinners and around our table, they are a delicious treat. The flavor of these bars bring me back to my Grandmothers table when she would bring these bars in to serve at a family dinner, great food memories, I can still see that smile on her face. She loved to cook special treats for her family and friends, and so do I.

Double Chocolate Pretzel Brownies

I am making a big pan of these Double Chocolate Pretzel Brownies for my Tuesday Night Ladies. I teach a small group Bible Study in my home on Tuesday night and I wanted to make a really special treat for the ladies as we begin to dig deep in our study. These brownies are full of awesome sweet double chocolate crumb with a salty crunchy bottom and top, a great sweet and salty treat.    After all don't you think that brownies make everything better?

I keep fresh fruit available for my family all the time and bananas are one of their favorite. I will often times buy more than they will eat so I can have some really ripe bananas to make yummy desserts. This recipe adds some fresh strawberries and some delicious peanut butter frosting to top this fabulous combination. This is one of my favorite bars and it is so moist with wonderful flavors. Be sure and enjoy your bar right away, they won't last long!

It is very cold outside and perfect for baking some treats to have on hand.
