I recently ask my husband to pick out some special cakes, cobblers and pie recipes that he loves the most. I was very surprised at the long list that he gave me and it had some recipes that I had no idea he liked that much. Some of the recipes are very old and family favorites, others we have developed through the years. When I first made the list, there were to many for one post, so this is the top of the list, the very best!  I have had so much fun with this collection of recipes and I sure hope that you will enjoy them .

I always look forward to peach season and all the wonderful peach recipes to use with fresh peaches. I grew up going to the peach orchard with my Grandmother and standing in a chair next to her in the kitchen while she created the most delicious peach recipes. Some of those same recipes are still some of our favorites today and we are including them in our collection of peach recipes today.

In the summertime the living is easy and we do love our sweets. There is really nothing better than sitting on the back porch enjoying a nice glass of iced tea and a lovely summertime sweet for an afternoon treat or an evening dessert. Today we want to share some of our favorites with you. Some of these recipes have been handed down through generations but for sure they have been kitchen tested in my kitchen by family and friends for many years.

I love making a special dessert for my Husband or just making an old favorite just for him. I am very blessed because my Guy is not a picky eater and will generally love whatever I set in front of him, but he sure does have his favorites. Of course on special occasions I love to pamper him and then the most fun is just to make it his special day, just because he is such a special guy!
