We love giving homemade gifts to our family and friends all year round, but we especially enjoy it at Christmas time. This year our giving pattern will be different, because we won't be able to see so many folks in person. Some of our gifts will be mailed and some will be left on front porches, but we will still have the joy of giving to those we love and share our life with in our family and friends in our community. We grow a large garden in the warmer months and we preserve a big part of that harvest every year, then that becomes one of the special gifts that we like to share with family and friends. One of the special projects that I really enjoy at Christmas is giving my homemade gifts from the kitchen. I remember through the years that the homemade gifts I have received are always so precious to me, because I know how much love goes into the planning and preparation of the gift. It gives me more joy than you will know to be able to give a gift from my kitchen and I am sharing with you some of the gifts that I will be giving this year. My wish would be that I could share one of these gifts with each of you, because you'al are so very special to me.

All through the year I keep a list of items from the kitchen that some of my friends and family might really enjoy receiving at Christmas time. When I am giving a gift from my kitchen it is really part of me, loving time spent creating a special gift just for you.When I receive a homemade gift, it is so meaningful to me and I really treasure the love and time that goes into the gift.  Since most of you are very far away from me, I am happy to share these gifts with you today!

Homemade Gifts are some of my most favorite gifts to give and receive. We put so much love and attention into the homemade gifts that we make, really we are giving a part of our self. When I am creating a new recipe, a painting, or making a quilt, I am giving you part of me. My husband and I grow a very large garden every year and then we preserve most of the vegetables so some of the gifts that we give are a labor of love from our garden. Homemade gifts are full of love from the hands and heart and who doesn't love getting something homemade.
