Background Story For Full Plate Thursday
When
we were young and just
starting out in life sometimes we did not have a
lot of money. Most of our friends were
having to stretch the dollars
at the end of the month just like us. My
girlfriends and I decided that we
would pool our food for some of the
evening meals right before payday...
the last week of the month. I have some
of the fondest memories from those
days. We would all bring our food
together and we had some great food and
great fellowship. We would get the
food on the table and everything ready,
someone would bless the food and
then the hostess would say "come fill your
plate".
Very Important Notice
All of us work very hard to develop a post, we have to get the recipe together, make the marketing list, shop at the market, prepare the dish, shoot the photos, write the post and then hope that folks will like it.That is quiet a process and a true ART PROCESS. It is so sad when someone else comes along and takes your entire post, the recipe and the photos without your permission, much less a link back to the original work, giving you credit for all your hard work and creativity. When those kind of post are brought to Full Plate Thursday, they will be DELETED. I appreciate and love each one of you and the amazing talent that all of you have and I want to help protect your work and know that you would do the same for me.

ReplyDeleteIt is so irritating and frustrating when others steal our hard work. Then when we call them on it, WE are the bad guy in the situation! Forget the fact that they are a thief, how dare we upset them when they were only trying to share our work, and get us some recognition. Yeah right! lol Thank you for helping us protect our work Miz Helen, and thank you for hosting such a great party. :)

It is so frustrating when others steal your hard work and take credit for it...I don't know how they can think that it will go unnoticed....no code of ethics....so very sad. I appreciate all of your hard work and for allowing me to join in! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the party, Miz Helen. The exact thing you talk about in your note happened to me recently. If it wasn't for blogging friends alerting me, I wouldn't have known. It's nice to know that most of us look out for each other.
ReplyDeleteHi Miz Helen. I love Full Plate Thursdays! We visited Phoenix last week, so I shared an easy Lemon Parsley Rice, for people on the go. As usual my Cooking Assistant loved it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the party Miz Helen and for watching out for us:) As far as I know, I have not had this happen to me, but I do hope if someone has or does, I would be alerted by a fellow blogger. You are so right when you say it's a true "Art Process". Lynn @ Turnips 2 Tangerines
ReplyDeleteThanks for another lovely party. Have a wonderful weekend. Blessings, D@TheShadyPorch
ReplyDeleteHi Miz Helen, this is the first time linking up to your party. Thanks for hosting, I am looking forward to checking out these wonderful-looking recipes!
ReplyDeleteHi Miz Helen,
ReplyDeleteIt's really sad to see people steal other people's work. If they can't come up with their own work they shouldn't be blogging to begin with. Thank you for taking it down and protecting the creator's work. Hope you're having a great week-end!
