Spring Garden 2015
Gardening has been a real challenge this spring with the constant rain that we have had. We have had more rain this season than any time in our recorded rain history, which in our area is over 100 years. No matter how good the drainage has been in your garden or yard it has sometimes been standing in water. We are so grateful that we have not experienced the loss of life or property that some have. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those families. In the past few days we have had a few hours out of the day when the sun has come out and things have began to dry out some.

I am so happy that we could go outdoors today and spend some time with you in our gardens. We are not considered in a drought any longer so we should have a wonderful summer and fall garden season. Look forward to seeing you here at The Garden Gate again real soon!
Peace and Joy

So glad you and your family are OK. Your garden looks beautiful. Clearly the sun is shining on you and yours. ☺
ReplyDeleteYour garden is looking so good even with all the rain. The garden at our friend's, where Rich used to help out, was flooded. They did share some lettuce and green onions before all the rain happened.
