BLT Pasta Salad
Our BLT Pasta Salad is a delicious salad any time of the year, but when it is really hot outside, this cold salad topped with crispy bacon is perfect for a salad luncheon or a lite supper. We mix the pasta with a fantastic homemade dressing that we keep in the refrigerator and enjoy using on other salads. It is a great salad to just have in the refrigerator, just waiting for that one person who will come and stand with the door open just looking for the right thing to eat, you know the kind, there is one in every house. Hope you enjoy the recipe!
How To Make
BLT Pasta Salad
I like to use macaroni pasta noodles,
that have been cooked, drained and cooled.
Chop the bacon and fry it in a skillet.
Drain the fried bacon on paper towels. Let the bacon cool completely, it needs to be crisp.
In a very large mixing bowl mix
the macaroni, red onions, and cherry tomatoes.
Some herbs from the garden mixed with some
mayonnaise , milk and some powered mix will
make this delicious dressing.
The dressing will need to sit for a
couple of minutes to thicken up.
Top with the shredded cheese and mix well.
Pour the dressing over the ingredients and mix well.
Add the mixed greens to the pasta and vegetables, mix well.
Cover the salad and place it in the refrigerator
for 2 hours before serving.
