Slow Cooker Rice Pudding
This rice pudding recipe is a winner no matter what the occasion or the weather. Through the years this has been one of my go-to recipes for a busy day and the need for a great dessert. This is a great recipe to take to a cover dish meal and always a hit for a family supper. Just put all the ingredients into the slow cooker and the magic will happen, its great!

How To Make Slow Cooker Rice Pudding
Butter the slow cooker, then pour in the rice, add the sugar, salt, cinnamon and brown sugar.
Add the milk, vanilla extract, and mix well.
Dot the butter on top of the mix.
Place the lid on the cooker and cook on High for 3 to 4 hours depending on your cooker, or low for 5 hours,
depending on your cooker.

Slow Cooker Rice Pudding
A creamy rice pudding, is seasoned just perfectly to give so much comfort and taste.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter, divided
- 2 cups rice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 6 cups whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- garnish with whipped cream and a spring of mint
Instructions
- With 1 tablespoon butter, butter the inside of the slow cooker.
- Pour the rice, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and brown sugar into the slow cooker and mix well.
- Pour the milk and the vanilla extract into the dry mix. Stir well, then with the remainder of the butter, dot the top of the mix.
- Place the lid on the cooker and cook on low for 5 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, check the rice as the time will depend on your cooker.
- Garnish with whipped cream and fresh mint.
