Whats For Dinner Next Week:Slow Cooker Pork Chop Dinner

Hi... there you are, I thought I heard  you drive up. Was there a lot of traffic on your drive from the city? I am out here on the patio just working on my menu's for the next week. Our little country meat market has some great Pork Chops from one of our local growers this week  I am going to build my feature recipe around those wonderful Pork Chops. It is going to be a really busy week so I am going to keep it simple.

My husband asked in the middle of the afternoon " How long are we going to have to smell that stuff before we get to eat it? My mouth is watering!" I served a huge salad, with carrot Cake and homemade butter pecan ice-cream, and Chocolate wine

  21. Miz Helen, I'm so glad you shared this with the Hearth and Soul hop because I use my crock pot for at least half of all the dinners I make throughout the winter. And if you can smell a dish in the driveway, you know it's gotta be good :)

  22. Yummmm - I love a good pork chop - I think pork chops and bacon are probably the two things that keep me from being a vegetarian - don't think I could ever give them up :-)

  24. Hi Miz Helen! I adore good slow cooker recipes because they make life so much easier and I can then do loads of other things on the days I am busy. Mind you, I adore cooking, but if I am "at risk" of getting take out on any given day, the slow cooker and 10 minutes in the morning puts me on the right track. Wish I could be as organized as you with menu planning! Alas, it is not to be, and I guess we are all different for a reason! Thanks for sharing on the hearth and soul hop this week.
