The Re Purposed Outdoor Kitchen Part Two

We are going to continue with our journey to the Re Purposed Outdoor Kitchen. When we left our journey in Link Part One Re Purposed Kitchen we were just about to grout the tile.

Since this is an outdoor kitchen we decided to have black grout so it would be easier to keep and it wouldn't yellow like white sometimes does. It was very hot the day we did this so we had to work really fast before the grout got too dry to work with.

We Had A Lot Of Area To Cover

  1. It looks great, I'm quite jealous. I love how many items you reused/repurposed for the kitchen. I'm wishing you many happy meals cooked out there. :)

  3. Miz Helen, that looks absolutely fabulous! You and Leonard should be so proud. It's going to be such a usable, functional space, especially with all the heat that you guys have been having. I'll have to get my husband onto it. If not, you and Leonard are more than welcome to come over to Australia and put one in for us? LOL There'll be a bed for you and some good old fashioned cooking? LOL (At least you can escape the heat. It's quite mild and nice at the moment.)

  7. Miz Helen,

I found your blog through Foodie Friday. You have some wonderful recipes. I am glad to find you. I'm a mom to two children, 5 and 20-months. I am always looking for new recipes, and my friends are, too.

I am going to host my first blog link-up on August 1 and I would love for you to link up and share a recipe or meal planning tips. I bet you have a lot of great tips.

My goal is to have this one post where people can have see posts/websites that will help them plan meals for the month.

Hope you join me. In the meantime, I look forward to trying some of your recipes.

  8. I really enjoyed reading about your project and even shared parts of your posts with my hubby over the weekend.

Before we moved back to Oklahoma (after 22 years away), we lived in several different Texas towns, and the last was a 3-acre spread in Cleveland. We had lived in town our entire married life, and the time we spent on mowing, gardening, pond-building, and other assorted projects was the most exhausting but fun we'd had in our marriage. We live in relative laziness in suburbia now, but your post brought back fond memories! :)

  9. Great space! Bet your neighbors love you...tantalizing aromas wafting from your outdoor kitchen! I'd say you get a lot of drop by visitors on days you cook out. :) Thanks again for sharing!

  10. I’m amazed at how much all these just cost you! For an outdoor kitchen that looks so fab, you guys did great. Have you added anything more since? I have a shade set up for my outdoor kitchen, so that cooking and eating snacks during the day are still possible. =)

    Regards,
