The Re Purposed Outdoor Kitchen Part One

When we began to develop our little country place we wanted to have an outdoor kitchen because we spend so much time outdoors all year round. Although we knew where we would eventually have the kitchen it has been a work in progress. One of the inside projects we completed this year in the kitchen, was to add some additional custom built cabinets, new counter tops, a back splash, new sink and faucet and of course the new refrigerator, which I am still in love with. We decided that we would re purpose the old cabinet tops, sink and faucet for our outdoor kitchen. This is what we did. The "We" is my wonderful and talented husband Leonard and me.

The Old Sink and Faucet Ready To Set In The Outdoor Cabinet

Ready To Begin

New water lines from the house to the new outdoor kitchen had been run a couple of weeks prior to beginning the final construction. The drain for the sink is filtered with river rock and then re cycled for use in the up stairs garden.

  3. Sadly it looks like I won't be able to come to Texas any time soon. That seems odd as I usually make it several times a year. How my heart yearns to sit on the couch and have coffee. I so treasure our phone conversations and coffee time. I am thrilled that you all are coming to celebrate Pauls 30 year retirement from the Air Force. It is important to have our family there with us. Love the blog as it is like a warm hug from home. Love you Little Momma and Little Daddy.

  7. What a fantastic idea Miz Helen. I think it's cute that Leonard doesn't mind being featured on your blog. I featured one of my husband's ideas on my blog once and he keeps asking how many people have looked at it. Looking forward to the big reveal.
