Italian Noodle Bake
This is a delicious retro recipe that I made for my kids when they were in high school. It was always a great recipe to go to when they would bring 3/4 of the football team home for dinner. It has great Italian flavor and is a real easy recipe to make even at the last minute. This is a great go to recipe still to this day!

How To Make Italian Noodle Bake
We will chop a yellow onion and
a medium size green bell pepper.
Brown the ground chuck, add the salt, pepper and garlic powder. Then add the onions and peppers. Cook the
meat and vegetables together on medium heat
until the vegetables are tender.

Cook the noodles according to package directions. Retain 1/2 cup of the pasta water, add the cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream and 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese. Stir the cheese mixture until most of the cheese has been melted.
Then stir in the cooked and drained noodles.
Spray a 9X13 baking dish with cooking oil and place
the noodle mixture in the dish.
Spoon the meat sauce over the noodle mixture, then sprinkle the remainder of the mozzarella cheese on the top. Place the lid on the baking dish or cover it with foil paper. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the lid or the foil paper. Continue to bake until
the cheese is fully melted, about 10 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley then let
cool for 10 minutes before serving.
