Pumpkin Snickerdoodle Bars
We are Snickerdoodle fans here at the cottage. These Pumpkin Snickerdoodle Bars are a seasonal favorite here. This is a very easy recipe to prepare and in no time these flavorful bars can be on your dessert table.

How To Make Pumpkin Snickerdoodle Bars
In a mixer bowl, mix together the butter, sugar, brown sugar. Mix together until fluffy. Add the pumpkin puree, water,
and vanilla extract.
Mix together until blended well. Set aside.
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, cream of tartar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and allspice. Whisk the mixture until combined well.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients a little at a time until the dry ingredients are completely incorporated.
The dough will be very thick.
Spray the bottom of a 9X13 baking pan.
Cover the bottom of the sprayed pan
with parchment paper.
Spoon the thick batter on top of the parchment paper and smooth it out and even as you can.
In a small mixing bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugar topping.
Cover the top of the batter with
the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
The center will still be soft but done.
before cutting to serve.
