What a wonderful spring week we are having here at the cottage. We are in early harvest for our onion crop, early planting and great rain produced a great harvest. I am looking forward to our annual Mothers Day Luncheon on Sunday and spending time with some awesome family members who will be traveling a long way to spend the day with us. We have had the most awesome weekend with family and friends attending our Granddaughter Lauren's Wedding.  Congratulations to Lauren and Corbin, we are so happy for you!  We will spend the biggest part of this week with family and getting ready for our 4th of July celebration in our community.  We have the best 4th Celebration in our little community with a parade, bake sale, and lots of fun activities and just a lot of visiting under the big Oak Trees and around the lake. We just got back from our visit to the cottage in the Texas Hill Country.  Lots of great food and some nice relaxation with friends and family. Last week end was awesome at my annual Women's Retreat, I came back all refreshed with my cup full and my spirit renewed.  We have had the most beautiful weather this week with just the perfect amount of rain and sunshine for the gardens. Come along with me and we will walk out the The Garden Gate and take a look at the row crops that are just about ready to start producing. It is so good to see you today, we are so excited about the rain. We got just enough rain to give us a little cooler temperature and a nice shower for all our plants.
