Hello everyone, we had so many wonderful recipes for the holidays at last week's party and I am looking forward to even more this week.  We have family visiting for the holidays and we have been enjoying trying some of your awesome recipes.  It is a very busy time of the year and one that I just love, I wish it could be Christmas everyday, I think that's the kid in me.

Background Story For Full Plate Thursday
When we were young and just starting out in life sometimes we did not have a lot of money. Most of our friends were having to stretch the dollars at the end of the month just like us. My girlfriends and I decided that we would pool our food for some of the evening meals right before payday... the last week of the month. I have some of the fondest memories from those days. We would all bring our food together and we had some great food and great fellowship. We would get the food on the table and everything ready, someone would bless the food and then the hostess would say "come fill your plate".

  12. Hello, Miz Helen! Coming to the party super late, we just adopted a new puppy on Wednesday and so that just added to the already busy time of the year. He's super sweet though and our girls just love him! Wanted to say thank you for giving my Slow Cooker Breakfast Lasagna a try! I just love recipes like this for when I have lots of guests staying in my home. It definitely frees me up to just relax over coffee with them in the mornings! Thanks for hosting a great party, as always. Hope you're having a wonderful week!
