Whats For Dinner Next Week 12-4-16

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving and now we are working hard to get ready for Christmas. I love to make special dishes for the season and decorate for the festivities. This week I will be attending a ladies luncheon where I will be taking one of my favortie salads. I am trying to get my meal plans made ahead of time for the month so I can enjoy the parties and my family who is here with us.

  2. The butternut squash bread sounds wonderful. I ate my first butternut squash this summer. Our son roasted it with cinnamon, olive oil, and coconut sugar. It was delicious. I would not have thought to put it in a bread. I think it taste so much like sweet pots.

Have you ever used cushaw/crenshaw? It is great to use in place of pumpkin in recipes. My husband planted some and we probably had in the 40-50s. Some weighed 24-28 pounds. I have lots in the freezer and he gave away a bunch.
