Retro Cheeseburger Pie Recipe
This cheeseburger pie was on my dinner table many times when my kids were younger. It is a very flavorful pie. It has very few ingredients and takes little time to prepare. We top it off with all the trimmings of a great burger. The recipe is still a family favorite, my Grandkids are now making the recipe for my Great Grandkids!

How To Make
Retro Cheeseburger Pie Recipe
We begin by browning the ground chuck in a skillet with the chopped onion. Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce.
Spray a deep dish pie plate with a oil spray. Spread the cooked ground chuck and onions in the pie plate.
Cover the ground chuck mixture with cheese. In a medium mixing bowl whisk together baking mix, milk, and eggs until smooth.
Slowly pour the liquid mixture over the meat and cheese mixture.
Bake in a 350 degree oven 25 to 30 minutes, until the pie is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center test clean. Remove to a cooling rack for 15 minutes
before slicing and serving.
Garnish with a chopped mix of tomato, lettuce, red onion, lettuce and dill pickles. We like some of our favorite mustard, ketchup
or mayo for a drizzle.
