Southwest Chicken Casserole
Our Southwest Chicken Casserole is a great recipe to make for that special pot luck or any gathering. It is easy to put together and bakes up in no time. The flavor is what will empty the dish every time. I have taken this to several pot luck gatherings and my dish is always empty at the end of the party.
How To Make Southwest Chicken Casserole
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened cream cheese
with a hand mixer.
Mix in the sour cream, mayonnaise and evaporated milk until smooth. Add the green chiles, pimientos.
Add the taco seasoning, onion salt, pepper,
and garlic powder mix well.
Add the shredded cheddar cheese and mix well.
Add the cooked chicken to the sauce mix.
Cook and drain the pasta.
Add the pasta to the chicken and sauce mixture.
Pour the casserole into the baking dish.
Bake in a 350 degree for 30 minutes.
Remove the baked casserole to a cooling rack.
Let the casserole sit for about 10 minutes before serving.
