Full Plate Thursday,493

Full Plate Thursday,493 at Miz Helen's Country Cottage
Welcome to Full Plate Thursday where the greatest bloggers gather every Thursday! Our whole life here at the cottage changed in a moment, my husband has tested positive for Covid 19. Thankfully he is able to be here at home where we can take care of and spoil him. He is on his 6th day and has continued to make improvement everyday, we are praying for his complete recovery. So far I have no fever and no symptoms, thankfully. I have been very careful to follow all the protacal to protect myself. We have great features from last week that I hope you will visit.  I sure am glad that you could come to the party today and as always I can't wait to see what you will be sharing with us today!

Full Plate Thursday Background Story
When we were young and just starting out in life sometimes we did not have a lot of money. Most of our friends were having to stretch the dollars at the end of the month just like us. My girlfriends and I decided that we would pool our food for some of the evening meals right before payday... the last week of the month. I have some of the fondest memories from those days. We would all bring our food together and we had some great food and great fellowship. We would get the food on the table and everything ready, someone would bless the food and then the hostess would say "come fill your plate".

  4. I'm sorry to hear Leonard is not well, but I'm glad he is recovering at home. Do take care, Miz Helen. There are lots of prayers coming your way! Thank you for hosting the party. I'm at number 7 this week with a vegan, gluten free recipe for Cauliflower Kung Pao. I'm not a fan of cauliflower myself, but I LOVE this recipe! Take care and I hope you both enjoy a happy, healthy weekend.

  8. My thoughts and prayers are with your husband for a complete recovery. I just cant imagine how hard this is to figure out where we even get it, we cant dodge a virus when you cant see and know who is a carrier, this is beyond scary and I am so sorry he has it. I sure hope its a very mild case and he isnt in pain. My continued prayers to you both and the family to stay healthy and get through this quickly. All the best to you and thanks for even being here to do this this week, god bless.
