Southwest Quiche

Southwest Quiche is a great blend of Southwest seasons in a wonderful Quiche that just happens to be one of my husband's favorite. This recipe is easy to put together and bakes up like a beautiful pie, that can be the star for any meal. Week End Treat: Surprise Bundt Cake

My husband has been working extra hard lately on our bathroom and kitchen remodel, so I wanted to make him one of his favorite Bundt Cakes. This is one of those cakes that is really a pudding with a little crust on top. It is so moist it will just melt in you mouth.  The Surprise Is Sitting On My Aunt's Hand Made Tablecloth The cloth was made with flour sack's and trimmed with the red polka dot cotton the hand worked basket of flowers is on each corner of the cloth. The Garden Gate: Spring Onions

We had record temperatures in the area of 15 degrees and our Spring Onions and Collard Greens made it. Collard Greens and Spring Onions We had planted 200 onion sets right before the bad weather came in two weeks ago. We were a little concerned that the winter vegetables and the newly planted Spring Onions might not make it but they did and we are sure glad that we don't have to replant. That's A Lot of Onions At Least There Are No Weeds Yet Helper Andre Just Watching His Brother Jaque AKA Garden Dog First Signs of Spring Lettuce Coming Up In The French Bath Tub I am using that lettuce in a special salad on Valentines Day, now you can't get any fresher than that. Day Trip Update On Chef York

I recently had an opportunity to visit with my friend Chef York, The Official Chef of Texas. We took you with us on a   Day Trip to visit him this past fall and had some of his wonderful Italian Cream Cake... how could we forget Italian Cream Cake Edom Bakery and Grill Chef Jackson York Chef York was telling me all about his upcoming Cooking Program .
