Whats For Dinner Next Week 3-26-17

Spring is here and I am so excited! Our meal plans will start to center more around our spring foods that are available in the markets and in our garden. We have some beautiful Swiss Chard that is ready in the garden, I am using some of it in one of the recipes this week. We have already been having some awesome fresh salads from our Lettuce Tub that sits outside our kitchen door. Lets get this plan made so we can enjoy this awesome spring day!

  1. I always want your breakfast recipes for dinner Miz Helen, that blueberry sausage bake looks great! The Tex Mex casserole in the crock pot is right up my alley too! I have been seeing sheet pan dinners all over the place, haven't tried that yet...Have a great and delicious week!

  2. Your recipes always look so delicious! And I love that lettuce tub idea. I have some large tubs. I wonder if it's too late to plant lettuce here in southeastern Oklahoma. Any idea?

    1. Hi Deanna,
Get your tub and get your lettuce planted, you will be able to enjoy your lettuce until late July and in August it may burn up. You can replant in late September and enjoy it until after Thanksgiving. You have just about the same weather pattern that we do. Enjoy your Lettuce and keep me posted how it is coming along! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
