I am so glad to see you today, fall is such a beautiful time to take a drive to the country. In the fall we have so many fun events in our area, Friday Night Football, Game Days, Fall Festivals and lots of wonderful food. I can't wait to see what foods you have for special events in the fall and the wonderful recipes, table decor and food related post that you will be sharing for the party today. Background Story For Full Plate Thursday

When we were young and just starting out in life sometimes we did not have a lot of money. Most of our friends were having to stretch the dollars at the end of the month just like us. My girlfriends and I decided that we would pool our food for some of the evening meals right before payday... the last week of the week. I have some of the fondest memories from those days. We would all bring our food together and we had some great food and great fellowship. We would get the food on the table and everything ready, someone would bless the food and then the hostess would say "come fill your plate".

  2. I do love fall! Although there is no Thanksgiving in England, we celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving this coming Monday, and we are looking forward to celebrating with family and friends. Thank you for hosting the party, Miz Helen. The features look wonderful. I'm sharing a delicious breakfast dish, perfect for everyday, but also for Thanksgiving and Christmas.   11. Thank you for featuring my apple corn muffins! I am glad you liked them! Thank you for hosting! This is what was highlighted during the week 9-30 to 10-4 on the blog. On Tuesday morning was a breakfast of Corned Beef Hash Browns and Eggs. Wednesday we enjoyed a Veal Parmigiana. Wrapping up this week of comfort food we enjoyed an Easy Double Cheese Baked Penne. Enjoy!
