Whats For Dinner Next Week, 11-17-19 at Miz Helen's Country Cottage

Meal plans are so important especially this time of the year when our families are so busy with special events. It has been unusually cold here in our area so it is nice to keep some homemade potpourri simmering on the back burner, it helps the house smell good and puts moisture back in the house.
Potpourri Ideas
6 cups water
2 or 3 cinnamon sticks
orange peal from 1 orange
lemon peal from 1 lemon
1 tablespoon cloves
Simmer In An Open Sauce Pan
Max is curled up by my side, I have gathered my recipes and checked the inventory, all set to go, glad you are here to help me!

  1. I love your idea of simmering potpourri not only for the aroma, but to put moisture back in the air, so smart! Sweet little Max helping you do the weekly meal plan...

  3. What a fun collection of recipes. I'm always looking for some inspiring ways to finish up a jar of pepper jelly! On Brussels Sprouts! Who knew!! :) And i never thought about the simmering potpouri adding moisture! Now that's a great reason to keep the house smelling wonderful! Thanks for sharing with us at Fiesta Friday!
