Spicy Pumpkin Dump Cake
When the pumpkins set on in the garden and show up at the farmers markets, it is time to start making all things pumpkin. One of our favorite pumpkin treats is our Spicy Pumpkin Dump Cake, it is filled with warm, fall and winter spice combined with a delicious pumpkin puree. This is a quick and easy cake and is great for the unexpected dinner guest, morning coffee or for afternoon tea.

How To Make Spicy Pumpkin Dump Cake
In a large mixing bowl, stir together,
the pumpkin puree, eggs, and spices.
Whisk the evaporated milk into the pumpkin mixture.
Whisk together until completely combined,
then pour into a prepared 9 X 13 baking dish.
Very carefully sprinkle the Spice Cake Mix on
top of the pumpkin mixture.
Sprinkle the pecans over the top of the cake mix.
Very carefully pour the melted butter on top of
the cake mix and pecans.

Spicy Pumpkin Dump Cake
A quick and easy recipe filled with warm spices and great textures. A great cake for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 (15.0 ounces each) cans pumpkin puree
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon all-spice
- 3 eggs
- 1 (12 ounce) can Evaporated Milk
- 1 (15.25 ounce) box Spice Cake Mix
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup butter, melted
- Baking spray
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl whisk together the pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, all-spice, eggs, Evaporated milk. Whisk until completely blended.
- Prepare a 9 X 13 baking dish with baking spray. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the baking dish.
- Very carefully sprinkle the cake mix on top of the pumpkin mixture.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the cake mix.
- Very carefully drizzle the melted butter all over the top of the cake.
- Bake in the oven for 45 minutes.
- Remove from the oven to a cooling rack and let cool for 15 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with whipped cream or ice cream.
Recipe Correction
Bake At 325 Degrees For 45 minutes!
The cake is ready to serve and can be served
with whipped cream or ice cream.
Serve it with your breakfast coffee, afternoon tea or a family dinner.
A great cake to take for a potluck supper.
