I ended up taking it in an entirely different direction with the fresh blueberries that my neighbor gave me. The butter pecan crumb of the cake and the cream cheese frosting are such a delicious blend. I have garnished it with pecans, fresh blueberries and a mint chiffonade. We love anything banana here at the cottage and this cake is a real treat for us. It is a very versatile recipe that I have a lot of fun with. It is a very easy scratch cake that delivers a very tasty and moist crumb, then with a pudding topping and a buttercream frosting it can't get much better until the garnish goes on, oh my just to think about it makes me hungry. This is a cake that can be served for any occasion from special family meals to covered dish dinners, it is a winner every time!

  Retro Pineapple Juice Cake is a very moist and delicious cake. It is really a very easy cake to make and it is good enough to serve for any occasion. My Mother used to make this cake for her bridge club ladies, it was one of their favorites. I remember after she passed away, one of her bridge club ladies called for the recipe so they could continue to enjoy it. I have made this cake for birthday's, ladies luncheons, bridal and baby showers. But most of all our family loves this cake and it always reminds of us of my Mother.

My husband just loved this cake when I served it to him for a very romantic dinner for two.

I love this Orange Cake recipe any time of the year, but it is especially good around the holidays. It has a delicious orange flavor, a soft crumb center and a wonderful orange glaze on the top. This cake is perfect for a special family gathering, a pot luck dinner or a nice slice with a cup of tea. My husband is right over my shoulder today, waiting for a slice of this cake, it's one of his favorites.

  I love this simple recipe that is so full of delicious flavors. This Frosted Pumpkin Walnut Snack Cake has been around our family for a very long time and is just perfect for a  after school snack for the kids or a great little snack cake to serve your friends that drop by for coffee. We have lots of friends and family that drop by the cottage for a cup of coffee and a nice visit, I really enjoy having a little something to offer along with that cup of coffee or tea. This recipe is easy to put together and has a great spice combination to enhance the flavor of the pumpkin and is topped with a silky frosting with walnuts.

This is a very easy cake to make and it will be a great hit for any occasion. I have a lot of fun with the sprinkles of the season and wait till you find the special treat hidden in the frosting. My husband loves this cake and gets so excited when I start to make it, I have to guard the cake to get my photo's before he attacks it. It is truly a favorite here at the cottage!
