Melody's Apple Puff's

Melody's Apple Puff's at Miz Helen's Country Cottage
These amazing Apple Puff's were created by our daughter Melody who is visiting us. She decided to treat us with a night off in the kitchen and made these delicious Apple Puff's. Like any blogger, I said hang on a minute let me get my camera, I want to do a blog post on the recipe. She is a great cook and we love seeing her when she is able to come home for a visit. She also made us a delicious Shephard's Pie. Melody, thanks so much for an awesome night off and a great new recipe!

We are going to start with fresh apples.

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk the brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, all-spice and nutmeg all together,
 then set aside.

Next we will peel, core and slice the apples.

Dip the apple slices into the spice mixture, turning and making sure to cover
the apples slices good on all sides.

Now here comes the fun part we lay the seasoned apples out on the puff pastry and score the cutting lines. Then we fold
the cut peddle lines over the apple slices.

Cover the tops with egg wash and place
 chocolate chips in the center.
Transfer the sheet of puffs to a prepared
parchment lined cookie sheet. Then into the oven for baking.
