Hello everyone, it is so good to see you here today for Full Plate Thursday, 789! I hope each of you had a blessed Easter last week with the most delicious food. We have some great features from last weeks party for you to enjoy today. Come on back to the garden area and find your place at the table, we saved you a seat!

  What is in season now and how can I use it? That is the question that started our Food and Recipe Basket. This month we are looking at some wonderful April fruits and vegetables that are in some of our gardens and also in the markets. I love looking forward to all the fresh fruits and vegetables that we will be having in the spring and summer months.

  Welcome to Full Plate Thursday, 788 and Easter Greetings to you all! We are so busy getting ready for the big Easter weekend here at the cottage. We are expecting a large family gathering, we are so excited to see everyone. It is really good to see each of you today and share the awesome features from last weeks party. Welcome to November, a food lovers month! What a fun month to plan food with so many traditional plans and recipes. We are well into our fall now with our temperatures dropping daily. We were busy this past week getting as many of our plants in the house and protected in the barn as we could. Now I am ready to cozy up with a cup of pumpkin spice latte and make some great meal plans for the week.

  Welcome to Full Plate Thursday, 764, it is so good to see you here today.  We are enjoying the great outdoors today, it is beautiful weather here in East Texas. So far we have had an extended late summer and late fall, but our food plate looks like fall is in full swing. The links that you brought to share last week are so inspirational for a fun filled fall with delicious food!

Coming to you today from the screen porch and welcome to October. We are excited to be in the beginning of fall as we plan our meals for the next week. I sure am grateful that we have home grown and home canned vegetables on hand. I was at the local super market yesterday and some of the prices are out of sight. I don't know what they are in your area, but here they are out of sight. It makes it more important as we move along to plan our food and food dollars. It's going to be a great week with some yummy food!

Our community calendar is just packed with Farmers Markets, Fall Festivals and even Hay Rides. We have some amazing features today from our party last week. We are having some beautiful days and our little plants are loving it. We are actually planting some late garden that we feel sure will make harvest. It will be fun to watch the crops and even better to enjoy the harvest on our table. We are having our party on the garden patio where we can really enjoy the great outdoors. I have saved you a place at the table and thanks so much for coming to the party today!

Hello everyone, it is so good to see you here on this sunny morning! We are actually going to be able to have a cook-out and enjoy being outdoors with no rain for a few days. I have made a inventory of our pantry and freezers, unfortunately we don't have that many fresh vegetables in our garden. We will be making a trip to the local farmers market to fill the order for our meal plan for the week. It will be fun to see what the market has to offer this week. 

We have been reading about and hearing about the total solar eclipse for well over a year now. It was about 6 months ago that some of the news sources here began to report that our community was in fact in the Path Of Totality. Plans were underway by the commercial and private communities to provide lodging and food sources for the thousands of people that were going to be converging on our little country and lake communities. 

Welcome to Full Plate Thursday at our new time on Thursday, at 6:00 a.m. CST! I am so excited to see you here today at our old original time that we started out in 11 years ago. We had some great features last week and I sure hope you will stop by and say hello to these talented bloggers. We have been so busy here at the cottage, getting our fall projects taken care of. We are getting our fall and winter garden ready to plant, we are running our of time. We also have family moving to our area which we are so excited about!
