Chicken Parmesan Patty With Spaghetti is a great family recipe that is so full of great Italian flavors. We really enjoy these Chicken Parmesan Patties, with a salad and vegetable, or even on a sandwich, but our favorite way to serve them is with spaghetti. This is a very easy recipe to prepare and in no time it is on the table ready to serve the family.

Chicken Parmesan Patty With Spaghetti

4 Patties
Ingredients
3/4 cup bread crumbs, fine ground
1-1/2 tablespoons Italian Seasoning
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese,  shredded
3 cups marinara sauce, divided, your favorite
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium size onion,finally chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound ground chicken
4 slices mozzarella cheese
1 cup Parmesan Cheese, Shredded For topping
Cooked Spaghetti for 4
Fresh Basil for garnish
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, add the bread crumbs, Italian Seasoning, dried basil, seasoned salt,black pepper,1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese, 1 cup marinara sauce.
In a hot skillet, pour in 2 tablespoons olive oil,onion and garlic. Saute until the onion is clear. Set the skillet aside.
Pour the onions and garlic into the mixing bowl with the bread crumb mix. Mix well.
Mix in the ground chicken and divide into 4 parts. Form 4 patties.
Heat the skillet and pour in an additional 2 tablespoons olive oil.
Place the patties into the hot skillet. Reduce the heat to medium and cook the patties until completely done, turning frequently until the chicken will read 165 degrees on a cookinig thermometer.
Place a slice of mozzarella cheese on top of each patty and place the cover on the skillet. Remove from heat and keep the lid on until ready to serve.
To Plate, place a serving of cooked spaghetti on the plate, place a patty on top of the spaghetti. drizzle 1/2 cup marinara sauce on top of each patty and sprinkle shredded Parmesan over the top and garnish with fresh basil.

  3. I'm always looking for easy and tasty recipes. Oddly enough, we will probably sub potatoes for the spaghetti, as my son doesn't care for pasta. Don't know how that man can be related to me! ;-)
