Whats For Dinner Next Week,10-18-20 at Miz Helen's Country Cottage
Good Morning everyone, I was going to sit on the screen porch to make this meal plan, but I am staying in this morning it is a little more than sweater weather. Fall has truly arrived and I am excited about a fun week here at the cottage.

About six weeks ago we sustained some water damage in our kitchen and utility area requiring some very old plumbing being replaced with walls being opened and reclosed. The wood planks had to be pulled up and the concrete floors then scrapped down. In the mean time we had ordered new carpet to be installed in our four bedrooms prior to the water accident and we were packing those rooms up for that install while we were under construction for the plumbing. Oh my goodness friends, it has been a mess, however the end is in sight. The new carpet has been installed and all the boxes unpacked and put away, they are coming this next week to install the new flooring for the kitchen and utility room and I am very excited! So for those of you who have been asking and supporting us along the way, thanks so much for hanging in there with us. Now lets get busy and plan some yummy meal plans.

  1. Remodeling is rough stuff, have you been able to cook and use your kitchen during all this? Your menu sounds wonderful as usual and especially the Brussels sprouts salad. We are just now enjoying cooler temps and sweater weather at night. Glad things are getting back to normal for you, and thank you for including my potato soup and broccoli pastries on your menu this week!
