Whats For Dinner Next Week 6-24-18

We have been enjoying some great rain today and it has really cooled things down a bit giving me a chance to sit on the screen porch and spend time with you. I sure am glad that we can take the time and plan meals every week, there are so many advantages to meal planning. For me meal planning helps me stay organized and gives a little more structure to nutritional requirements for me and my family. It also saves time, because we are not roaming up and down the supper market isles wondering Whats For Dinner Next Week.

We are very busy here at the cottage during this time of the year with  harvesting our garden, canning and preserving fruits and vegetables.  We have had an abundant harvest of Roma Tomatoes this season, so we are preserving some of them by drying them in the oven, and they are so delicious!

This Week We Preserved Tomatoes

I sure am glad you had time to stop by and spend some time on the screen porch with me this week. Hope you are taking the time to plan awesome meal plans for your family and enjoy your week!

  1. We make oven ribs all the time, so easy and so good! I've saved your mustard BBQ sauce and rub to try next time! Don't work to hard preserving all your garden goodies!

  3. My mother used to make patty pan squash a lot in the summer - I love the stuff! Thanks for sharing at the What's for Dinner party - have a great rest of the week.
