Whats For Dinner Next Week, 4-28-19 at Miz Helen's Country Cottage

I just got a cup of tea and settled in on the screen porch to make my meal plan for the week. It is raining, not hard but just a nice slow spring rain, it is really cozy sitting on the screen porch when it is a nice slow rain. I am looking at the garden plot that is ready to plant and we can't get a break in the rain so we can get it planted for this year, maybe soon. We will be enjoying some Tex Mex recipes this week leading up to the Cinco de Mayo weekend.  I checked on my pantry and freezer inventories earlier and I do have some fresh spring greens growing in garden tubs, now we are ready to get started.

Recipe Tip For Left Over Guacamole
In your guacamole bowl, smooth out the guacamole
pour a little water on top of the guacamole
put plastic wrap over the bowl and make it tight
place in the refrigerator and it will keep it from
turning brown.

  4. I love the look of that soup, and the shrimp and pasta! And I'm so ready for some warmer weather so I can go sit on the porch :)
